Our Learning Commons, also known as the library, is one of many important learning spaces at Douglasdale School. It is important that students have a space to gather across grades to learn in creative and collaborative ways. Our Learning Commons has a large vertical whiteboard, a Smartboard, flexible table and seating options, and of course a lot of books! We have been working on expanding our print collection to include increasingly more diverse texts where students see can see themselves reflected in the books they choose, but can also learn about others and the world around them. We are lucky to have Ms. Perry in the library each morning to help students and staff locate what they are looking for.
