Happy Friday Douglasdale Families!

It was a wonderful first week back with students. Across the school students were engaged in community building activities while getting to know new and familiar classmates and staff. You can peek into our learning and stay up to date by following our school and School Council Instagram accounts:

 @dds346cbe and @ddsschoolcouncil .

In the first weeks of school students will be added to their Google Classroom, which is a password protected online learning space. It is important to accept the invite so you can access your child’s Google Classroom. Teachers will start sharing regular weekly updates starting September 12.

As the weather starts to change, we are already seeing items in our Lost and Found. Please label your child’s belongings as this helps us ensure missing items make their way back to their owners. This includes sweatshirts and hoodies as they are the most common items taken off during outdoor activities and phys.ed.

We hope you have a wonderful weekend ahead!
