Happy Sunday DDS Families, This week, we were treated to a mixture of Spring weather. We have many students enjoying outdoor play and coming inside after recess with wet outerwear and socks. We encourage parents to touch base with their child to discuss if they would like to bring extra clothes they can access on wet and/or muddy days. Some learning highlights across the school from the week include: · Kindergarten received their duck eggs and are eagerly awaiting hatching day! · Grade One hosted guest artist Teresa Posyniak to sketch and paint bees · Grade Two studied different bodies of water, with a focus on the Bow River · Grade Three learned all about fractions through games · Grade Four played Indiana Jones with an Omnikin ball · Grade Five continued their class read aloud of Ban This Book by Alan Gratz Next week is Hats on for Mental Health. Students and staff are invited to wear their favourite hat on Wednesday, May 8th. Have a great week ahead!
