Dear DDS Families,
Thank you to our volunteers who joined us today for our Volunteer Celebration event! Our amazing volunteers make a real difference for students and staff. We truly appreciate your time, energy, and support!
Rain Barrels: Douglasdale School Council is currently hosting an online rain barrel sale. The sale will run until April 30th with an anticipated pick-up day of May 13th - delivery options are available. $10 from each rain barrel will come back to the school and all rain barrels are eligible for the City of Calgary's rain barrel rebate. For more information and to pre-order visit https://rainbarrel.ca/douglasdaleschool.
Council has changed the delivery date to May 13th to ensure you have your rain barrels to catch the May showers.
Clubs: Origami Club every Tuesday until May 26, 2026 (8:20am to 8:40am).
Attention Grade 3-5 Students! Mrs. Boone and Mr. B are excited to offer Wednesday Walking Club at lunchtime. We will explore the local community for a mindful, refreshing break during the school day. Please sign up here to indicate your interest. To ensure safety and supervision requirements, we can accept 20 participants. If we have more interest than spots, participants will be randomly selected. Parents and students will be informed in advance of our start date.
