Happy Friday DDS Families,

We wanted to share a heartfelt thank you for making this past week so special for our staff and students.

First, thank you so much for spoiling us with the ‘Appy Hour’ staff appreciation lunch. The delicious treats and thoughtful gesture truly fueled our team and made us feel so valued.

We also want to extend our gratitude for funding our recent in-school presentation by Alberta Parks, ‘Kananaskis in the Classroom – Weather the Storm.’ It was an incredible success! The show was bursting with energy and laughs, and the students had a wonderful time diving into the world of weather through such an engaging and energy-filled performance. If your family enjoys camping, you can catch one of their many shows offered throughout the summer in the amphitheaters located at Mount Kidd or Peter Lougheed campgrounds in Kananaskis Country!

Thank you for your continued support in making these memorable learning opportunities possible. We look forward to seeing all our families next Thursday evening and Friday morning at our parent-teacher-student conferences.

Have a wonderful weekend,

DDS Administrative Team

 APEGA Science Night – Thursday, March 19 - 6:00 pm – 8:00 pm:

We invite you to join us for a fun evening of hands-on science and engineering activities and demonstrations in the school gym.  The experiments are intended to be a fun and engaging way to learn basic science concepts with applications in engineering and geoscience. Parents must supervise their children and help them with the experiments and the learning. This event will coincide with evening Parent/Teacher/Student conferences.
