Dear Douglasdale Families,  

Tomorrow marks the last day of the 2024–2025 school year, with an early dismissal at 11:45 am for all students.  

It’s been a wonderful year filled with growth, learning, and unforgettable moments. Highlights like our September SOGO Residency, the Trickster Theatre Residency in April, and our fun-filled June Activity Day were made possible thanks to your continued support. We truly appreciate the role you play in making DDS such a vibrant and caring school community!  

As we look ahead to the 2025–2026 school year, we’d like to share a few staffing updates. At today’s year-end assembly, we celebrated Ms. Kesler’s retirement and extended our best wishes to Ms. Post and Mrs. Paringit, who will be moving on to new opportunities. We’re also excited to welcome two new teachers to DDS: Mrs. Larose and Mr. Young.  

Class lists will be finalized in late August when staff return. On Wednesday, August 28 at 4:00 pm, you can expect to receive a welcome email from your child’s teacher.
