Happy Friday DDS Families, 

June is always a special time—both a celebration of all we’ve accomplished and a time to begin looking ahead to the year to come. Today, we were excited to host the year-end Kindergarten Celebration and the Welcome to Kindergarten and Open House for new students. Thank you to all the families who were able to attend! 

As we plan for a new school year, change is a natural part of the journey. This year, we will be saying goodbye to two valued members of our staff.  

Mrs. Kesler will be retiring after over 30 years of inspiring students and building community. If you would like to send her a retirement message, you can add a note to her digital e-card or email her directly at sekesler@cbe.ab.ca . We would love if families could pass this invitation on to any community members who may have been connected with Ms. Kesler over the years. Ms. Post will also be leaving DDS to pursue new opportunities in another CBE school. We are grateful to Ms. Kesler and Ms. Post for their many contributions to our school and wish them all the best in their next adventures.  

If you would like to join us in thanking them and saying goodbye, we will be celebrating Ms. Kesler’s retirement and saying farewell to Ms. Post at our year-end assembly on June 25 at 9:30am. Please email Mrs. McKay at hmmckay@cbe.ab.ca if you plan to attend so we can ensure seating is set up for you.
