Student report cards for this term are now available for you to view online through your MyCBE parent account. We encourage you to take some time to review the report with your child, celebrating their "Glows" (strengths) and discussing their "Grows" (areas for growth).
Student-Teacher Conferences:
We will be hosting conferences on Thursday March 19th (4:30-8:00pm) and Friday March 20th (8:00am-12:00pm) to discuss your child’s progress in more detail.

APEGA Science Night – Thursday, March 19 - 6:00 pm – 8:00 pm:
We invite you to join us for a fun evening of hands-on science and engineering activities and demonstrations in the school gym. The experiments are intended to be a fun and engaging way to learn basic science concepts with applications in engineering and geoscience. Parents must supervise their children and help them with the experiments and the learning. This event will coincide with evening Parent/Teacher/Student conferences.
World Water Day – March 22nd
To coincide with World Water Day on March 22nd, Douglasdale School Council will be hosting an online rain barrel sale. The sale will run until May 15th with an anticipated pick up day of May 28th - delivery options are available. $10 from each rain barrel will come back to the school and all rain barrels are eligible for the City of Calgary's rain barrel rebate. Updating Emergency Contacts:
It is important to keep your child’s emergency contact information up to date in the event we cannot contact a guardian, such as when children become ill. Parents are responsible for updating your child’s information through MyCBE. Please click on the link below for instructions on how you can do this: Update Information.
2026-2027 Kindergarten Registration Opened January 12, 2026:
Please click on the Kindergarten registration link for information and the process. Confirmation of enrollment will be sent to families in May once all the applications are processed. We plan to offer morning kindergarten for 2026-2027 but this will be confirmed in April when our yearly calendar is approved. Our online Welcome to Kindergarten session will be held on May 28th and our New Student Open House is planned for June 5, 2026.
