Happy Friday DDS Families, 

 Families will have access to view, download, and print online report cards starting on February 24 through MyCBE. February 2026 report cards will be visible in PowerSchool until May 29^th, 2026. After this date, semester one report cards will no longer be available for viewing, downloading or printing.   

Parents and Guardians can sign in to MyCBE to view student information, including report card comments from your child’s teacher, grades, and attendance information. For the best access to information, log in through the MyCBE portal instead of using the PowerSchool App.      

Online booking for upcoming Parent/Teacher/Student Conferences will open March 4 at 4:30pm. An email will be sent to parents on March 2^nd with instructions on how to book. If you are unable to attend during these dates, please email your child’s teacher to make alternate arrangements.

DDS School Spirit Wear:  

Spirit wear, including DDS t-shirts and hoodies, are available to purchase through the Douglasdale School Spirit Wear Store until February 23, 2026. All items will be delivered to the school. 

Student Safety: 

We would like to remind families that staff supervision begins at 8:41 am. On ‘Blue Days’ students can enter the nearest door and will be met by a staff member. If your child(ren) plan to arrive before this time, please ensure they are supervised until they enter the school or a school staff member is visible outdoors. If your child arrives after the morning bell at 8:56 am, please sign your child in through the front office to ensure they make it into the school building safely. Thank you for your support in ensuring student safety. 

Updating Emergency Contacts: 

It is important to keep your child’s emergency contact information up to date in the event we cannot contact a guardian, such as when children become ill. Parents are responsible for updating your child’s information through MyCBE. Please click on the link below for instructions on how you can do this:  Update Information. 

 2026-2027 Kindergarten Registration Opened January 12, 2026: 

Please click on the Kindergarten registration link for information and the process. Confirmation of enrollment will be sent to families in May once all the applications are processed. We plan to offer morning kindergarten for 2026-2027 but this will be confirmed in April when our yearly calendar is approved. Our online Welcome to Kindergarten session will be held on May 28^th and our New Student Open House is planned for June 5, 2026.
