Happy Sunday DDS Families,
April 14 to 20 is National Volunteer Week. We are so fortunate at Douglasdale School to have such a vast and generous group of volunteers. Our volunteers contribute to our school community in so many ways including distributing our fun lunches, supporting small groups of students, working casinos, organizing fundraisers, running our book fair, and holding positions on our School Council and Parent Association. One of the biggest ways they support our school is volunteering for school field trips and in-school experiences, and without you, we would not be able to offer these opportunities to our students. Thank you for your volunteer spirit and contributing to our school community in such a positive and impactful way. If you are one of our superstar volunteers, please remember to RSVP for our Volunteer Appreciation event in May. See the details in the message below.
Have a great weekend!

As part of the re-planting process, we are looking for donations to help fill our new living wall. Clippings from your current plants are preferred, with roots started – follow the instructions here for growing roots to transplant. You can click here to see the best plant options for an indoor living wall. When your donation is ready, please bring it to the front office.
