Dear DDS Families,

As we approach our March parent/teacher/student conferences, we wanted to remind parents that you can view recent assessment information and January report cards through your MyCBE portal.  Teachers use a 4-point indicator scale to communicate how your child is progressing in curricular learning outcomes. You can learn more about what each indicator means by looking at the rubric attached to each assignment. If you need assistance booking a conference with your child’s teacher, please contact the school office and we can assist. We look forward to celebrating DDS students’ success in learning together!

 Spare clothing in backpacks:

As we go through the freeze and thaw cycle, we recommend a spare set of clothing is placed in children’s backpacks.  If your child has borrowed clothing from the office, please wash and return it to the office.

Language and Reading: Tying it Together with the Reading Rope:

You're invited to join CBE speech-language pathologists in a session aimed at learning how to support language development and building reading skills.

 New Club Sign-ups:

Spring is around the corner and with it, new opportunities will be offered through early morning extracurricular clubs taking place before school begins. Please talk with your child before signing up for any club, as there are limited spots, and we want to ensure enrolled students are interested in attending.
